Tonight we play Clemson. Clemson is 0-54 at the Dean Dome. Me and the rest of Carolina are hoping we can keep this streak going. But after our third ACC loss on Sunday and players out from injury, we definitely need to do our best. I got tickets to the game tonight and was looking forward to reliving freshman year basketball season by taking Whitehead to the game tonight so we can catch up on our lives and cheer on the team with our blue and white pom poms, but instead, I gave them to her to enjoy with someone else while I babysit two precious girls overnight for the next few days. So while Im not at the game tonight, Ill be watching on TV and rooting for my Carolina boys to pull out a win and show us what they're really made of.

I'd dance with you in Paris and Venice and London
and those little islands where everyone goes naked
and speaks a dead language.
I'd dance with you anywhere, love.
Anywhere. Love.

Today is the last day before second semester starts. The last day to relax and sleep as late as I want and do whatever I want with no school work looming over my head. Im excited for this week though, and for my mid week wedgies break when I go pick up my car in Pinehurst, and for friends visiting this weekend already!

"May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art — write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself."
- Neil Gaiman

I just made my to-do list for the week and its two notebook pages long. Cleaning and organizing my apartment/life as top on the list.

we settle for, and what we are meant for.”
